I was thrilled when Jemma and Jamie decided to tie the knot and chose us to provide wedding cakes and flowers. The wedding took place in Fawsley Hall, a stunning setting for a timeless elegant spring wedding.
The flowers included avalanche roses, ranunculus, lisianthus, waxflower orchid, carnation, thlaspi, bupleurum, ammi visnaga and thistle (for the Scottish groom).
A pink and cream bouquet was provided for the bride, with cream bouquets for the bridesmaids and flower girl. A cream rose and thistle buttonhole for the groom.
The Salvin Room was filled with family and guests and made the prefect setting for the wedding ceremony. Pink and cream flower arrangements in vases of differing heights were setup on the registry table alongside pillar candles.
Elegant candelabras with a different tones of pink and cream roses and flowers as tall centrepieces created just the right ambience for the Salvin Board Room, where the wedding breakfast was held. Small dainty flower arrangements and candles as low centrepieces bring a feeling of elegance to a spring wedding. The fireplaces were also decorated with small flower arrangements and candles with the same colour theme.
To create an elegant top table we added a mix of vases and candleholders with spring wedding flowers and a large centre display. The spring scented candles and tealights created a lovely scent in the room.
The pedestal candalabra of flowers were moved next to the cake table in the wedding breakfast room after the ceremony, it is always a great idea so the arrangements can be enjoyed longer during the day.
We also made the wedding cake with matching colours of roses and flowers cascading down, with the a bride and groom cake topper sitting on the top tier. The cake topper was a surprise to the groom 🙂
The cake topper had the matching outfit of the stunning groom and bride on the day!
The wedding cake was a carrot cake, red velvet cake and victoria sponge cake with extra jam and cream inside.
